A Bit About Me

Queenster is a proud Ghanaian-American who resides in the Chicagoland area. She earned her B.A. in Biological Chemistry from Grinnell College where conducted research that led to national recognition, conference awards, and her first journal article publication. Her curiosity and willingness to challenge herself opened doors for her as a Research Fellow at the U.S. FDA, a Research Coordinator at Johns Hopkins, and most recently, a Clinical Research Coordinator at Northwestern University.

Outside of work, Queenster is pursuing her postbaccalaureate certificate in Advanced Biology Studies for Health professions.  She also serves as the Co-Founder & Board President of the IINSPIRE LSAMP Alumni Committee (ILAC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides practical academic, financial, and professional assistance to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color students in STEM.

Queenster is inquisitive, an avid journalist & reader, a flight-catcher, and an implementer of bold, unique, and radical ideas. She intends to live a fruitful, flourishing, and fulfilling life, and empowers others to do the same.
